About this wine
Romanée-Conti is a vineyard of under two hectares, owned entirely by the domaine, which takes its name from it. It produces only a few thousand bottles a year and is one of the most famous and expensive wines in the world, admired for its harmony, depth and extraordinary length rather than power.
About Domaine de la Romanee-Conti
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, in the village of Vosne-Romanée, is widely regarded as the greatest wine estate in Burgundy. It is jointly owned by the de Villaine and Leroy-Roch families and makes almost only Grand Cru wines.
The domaine owns the whole of two legendary vineyards, Romanée-Conti and La Tâche, as well as parcels of Richebourg, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Grands-Échezeaux, Échezeaux, Corton and Le Montrachet. The vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically with very low yields, and the small quantities made are allocated, making its wines among the rarest and most sought after in the world.
