In bond

The red La Mission Haut-Brion is rich and powerful, with dark fruit, the smoky, earthy notes typical of the Graves gravel, and a firm structure. It is slow to mature and great vintages last for decades.
Château La Mission Haut-Brion lies in Pessac, on the edge of the city of Bordeaux, across the road from Château Haut-Brion. Named after the mission priests who owned it from the late seventeenth century, it has belonged to Domaine Clarence Dillon, the owners of Haut-Brion, since 1983.
It is a Classified Growth of Graves and is widely considered to make wines of First Growth quality, both red and white.
