Pavie is a powerful, concentrated Saint-Émilion, rich in dark fruit and with a firm structure from its limestone soils. It is built for long ageing.
Château Pavie sits on south-facing limestone slopes just east of the town of Saint-Émilion. Since Gérard Perse bought it in 1998 the estate has been transformed, with a new winery, and it was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé “A” in 2012, a rank it kept in the 2022 classification.
