About this wine

Since the 2009 vintage the domaine has farmed vineyards in Corton belonging to Prince Florent de Merode: its first red wine from outside Vosne-Romanée and Flagey-Échezeaux. The wine is firm and structured, typical of Corton, and has quickly found a following among collectors.

About Domaine de la Romanee-Conti

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, in the village of Vosne-Romanée, is widely regarded as the greatest wine estate in Burgundy. It is jointly owned by the de Villaine and Leroy-Roch families and makes almost only Grand Cru wines.

The domaine owns the whole of two legendary vineyards, Romanée-Conti and La Tâche, as well as parcels of Richebourg, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Grands-Échezeaux, Échezeaux, Corton and Le Montrachet. The vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically with very low yields, and the small quantities made are allocated, making its wines among the rarest and most sought after in the world.
