About Bruno Giacosa

Bruno Giacosa was one of the great figures of Piedmont, making classic, long-lived Barolo and Barbaresco at his winery in Neive until his death in 2018. His daughter Bruna now runs the estate.

Giacosa built his reputation buying grapes from the finest vineyards before acquiring his own, including Falletto in Serralunga d’Alba and Asili in Barbaresco. In the best years his top wines are released as Riserva with a red label, and are among the most collected wines of Italy.
