Fine wineWhat does "in bond" mean?

Wine held in a bonded warehouse has not had UK duty or VAT paid. These are only due if you take the wine out of bond for delivery.

At Wine Tunnels, in underground bonded storage at London City Bond, Dinton Woods, Wiltshire, held in your name and insured through Lloyd’s of London.

Fine wineHow much does storage cost?

£17.00 per 12-bottle case a year (£8.50 for 6 bottles or fewer), plus VAT, paid directly to Wine Tunnels.

Fine wineCan I have my wine delivered?

Yes. Delivery is £22.49 per case in England and Wales, plus VAT. Duty and VAT on the wine are quoted before it leaves bond.
